MY STORY.

Professionally, I have 20 + years, and over 12 years of that experience is in branding, visual storytelling, navigating the changes in competitive landscape and experiencing the digital shift through eCommerce for path to purchase.

I have worn many hats in my professional background and always up for a good challenge.

However, I should start from the beginning. I have always been passionate about creative for as long as I can remember. My grade school did not offer the proper resources for an art curriculum, so my parents enrolled me into art programs to develop my talent. High school was where my art flourished, having art every day was a first for me and was awarded several first places in North Suburban Art Shows. I advanced to the College of Lake County, a junior college, and earned an Associate's in Art. Then, I furthered my education at Northern Illinois University School of Art to earn a Bachelor's in Fine Art with an emphasis in Illustration. Based on the emerging digital industry, there were not many staff positions available for an Illustrator and I needed computer skills to elevate my career. Although my first job was at a newspaper publication, it taught me the archaic process of print production and also provided computer and design experience as things shifted to digital to print. I was able to further my computer design skills from next design positions.

6 years later in my career, I found Klein Tools where I obtained brand experience as I elevated to a Creative Leader for development and art direction. Seeing the changes needed to benefit an organization, implementing process, team building perception of leadership, and employee oversight.

Advocating visual storytelling and brand expansion
for the execution of identity, setting the tone for transformation of communication touch points, determining the long term sustainability of a brand.
